Honestly, this video..I can’t even put into words how amazing it is. It actually seems like a trailer for an exceptionally well directed movie. This Is Why We Fight is off their latest album The King Is Dead and visually I’m blown away. I’ve been a fan of The Decemberists for quite some time now, their music really mellows me out and puts me in somewhat of a calm zone. Hopefully this video and song will urge you to take some interest in their music, they’re awesome!
Owwwww! This song, I’m not even gonna lie I play every single day on my train ride to work. The beat, Casey’s Aww man in the beginning, Dom and cARTer all compliment this track so well. If there’s one thing you decide on investing some time in, IT’S THIS VIDEO. I dare you to not press play and start bopping your head. The Original Dom Kennedy is out now so please make sure to download it. This joint is one of the gems off of it. I love the part when cARTer goes, that’s a dumb pregunta. Ha, I say it like everyday.
My fascination with Kid CuDi is at a all time high. His rants will probably go down in history as some of the whiniest, Wale comes a close 2nd. He’s given up on drugs which confuses me because he’s the lonely stoner. Also, how’s he gonna rage if he’s sober? So MANY questions. Anyways up top the full version of the documentary which was released in conjunction with the deluxe edition of Cudi’s sophomore offering Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager which was released in 2010. Directed, shot and edited by Jason Goldwatch.
Karmin – Look At Me Now
I think Mansions On The Moon are pretty dope. With that said, they’re rise to fame has been somewhat slow although they come equipped with a N*E*R*D co-sign. The recent project that they’ve dropped Paradise Falls was an interesting mix of what blending genres successfully should be. They’re currently preparing their new album which drops in August, to give us some insight on that process we’re getting 3 videos that were filmed at the Red Bull Studio in Los Angeles. Up top, Volume 1. Directed by Jason Beattie.

Twin Shadow – At My Heels
I realize that this blog is just getting increasingly random as of late but I saw this Mortal Kombat mini episode on youtube and just had to post it. I will forever and always be a fan of Mortal Kombat games and sometimes break out my Sega Genesis just to relive my glory days. With that said: Jax (Michael Jai White), Kurtis Stryker (Tahmoh Penikett), Sonya Blade (Jeri Ryan) and Kano (Darren Shahlavi) star in episode 1 of the all-new Mortal Kombat: Legacy live action series, presented exclusively by Machinima.com and Warner Brothers.

I seen a baby cry then seconds later she laughed, the beauty of life, the pain never lasts
