Fool’s Gold + MMG + G.O.O.D. Music equates to a all-star ensemble. Courtesy of A-Trak’s facebook we’re presented with a banging remix (no literally, I found a wall and was so hyped from dancing I banged into it) of Ray Ban Vision. Honestly anything with Donnis and Danny Brown make my ears quite happy, it’s a pretty interesting mix of artists but they make the remix worthy of a listen.
First off, let me just state that if you haven’t downloaded K.R.I.T’s Return of 4eva I kindo of don’t want you visiting this site. SIKE, I’m kidding … sorta. K.R.I.T.’s music has left a long lasting impression on me and I literally play Country Sh*t everyday on my walk to work. Luda kills his verse and I just love it. Check it out below to hear for yourself!
Well here we have America’s sweetheart once again. I think I post something from Odd Future at least once a day on this site which means..those ridiculous boys are doing something right. I wholeheartedly stand by the fact that I think Tyler is a genius. Down below we get a remix of his track Seven by one of his favorite artist James Pants.
Not sure when Mike G’s project Gold is slated to drop but there are more tracks like this Left Brain produced joint, we’re all in for a suprising treat. I say suprising because Odd Future militia suprised the heck out of me with all the talent these young boys have. Take a listen below and hear what I mean.
I wonder how many of you know that’s Martha and the Vandellas? Heatwave has to be one of my dad’s favorite songs. If you ever feel like browsing their discography my personal favorites are Nowhere to Run, Forget Me Not and Nowhere to Run. Moving on, Xaphoon takes this sample, flips it around to make it hella current and adds the great white hype Mac Miller for an extra additional plus. I love music that makes you appreciate your past while staying 10,000 steps ahead of the curve. Enjoy y’all, this one was my favorite discovery of the night.

This is the type of music I absolutely love. I always say that even though i know the 50s and 60s sucked money balls, musically it’s my favorite era. If I had a time machine, I’d go back to eh 1955 and work on marrying Otis Redding. But hey, that’s just me. This song has somewhat of a flapper-esque sound to it, a little jazzy but here’s what Lanie had to say, “Thought I would share my new track “Like Me Meaner” with you! It’s a saucy, swampy number, written + sung myself with old guitars, double bass and a whole lot of dirty percussion driving it along. It’s actually the first single cut from the album I’m recording, due out mid 2011!”
Eesh Jill takes it back to the 90s. I feel like I need a jumper and some light up sneakers. Yeah..I was young in the 90s but hey, I still had appreciation for good music. Ugh, I miss Eve. Can you make music again Eve?? I used to feel like Xena, Warrior Princess when I heard Eve rap. Those were the good ole days. This is the lead single off Jill’s upcoming album, The Light of The Sun whose release date has yet to be announced.

Are those her real boobies? Is there someone out there on the inter-web that can answer this question for me? … Well anyways, if you’re anything like me you hate HATE hate hearing DJs screaming all over these mixtapes. It makes me go absolutely cross-eyed. Thankfully we’re now presented with Pac Div’s dope ass Mania! that dropped earlier tagless thank you to the powers that be for making this possible. Enjoy, you know Pacific Division is the absolute shiz.
