Big Sean and his merry men light this track up! Dope beats, dope rhymes. What more could you ask for?! Chiddy Bang seriously slays the last verse. Big Sean is really starting to creep into my playlist and make noise in the all the right ways. Keep em coming!
It’s finally here! to celebrate 4/20 Curren$y releases his collaborative project Covert Coup, entirely produced by The Alchemist. Ha, before I talk about Rockie, can I just say the thirst from the chick in the front is like on a thousand trillion. Eesh. Up top while in Wisconsin, Mr. Fresh premieres The Otherside Redux Freestyle WHILE being backed up by a live band. Pretty class I must say. The Otherside Redux releases in May and features remixes and unreleased tracks from the initial Otherside release with Lil B, Casey Veggies, Phil Ade, Naledge, Rich Hil and many others. Judging from his guest features I can definitely say this project is gonna be worth checking out! Rumble young man rumble.
Sadness is my boyfriend, oh sadness i’m your girl..
One of my favorites from Lykke Li gets the Gold Panda remix treatment making the track a little more upbeat and danceable. Not sure if i’m a fan but it’s only because the original version of this song allows me to be depressed and sad and this version..makes me want to dance around with glo-sticks.
This is probably one of the best remixes I’ve heard all year. Fab still manages to make me swoon when he raps and Ryan Leslie is a certified genius when it comes to this music thing. Well done boys, this remix is the business.

Now..I’m a semi-Britney Spears fan. Sometimes I can tolerate her, sometimes she makes me go cross-eyed. Bloody Beetroots does an amazing job remixing her mediocre single.
Cris Cab is just 17 years old and has already blown my mind with his voice. He did a cover of Wiz’ Black & Yellow that is constantly playing in my iPod. Oh also the young squire is working with Pharell on his upcoming album. If that doesn’t give you enough incentive to press play, please exit this blog.
I know the streets of the internet were highly anticipating the drop of this track. Produced by J.Cole and well worth the wait, Kendrick delivers a new joint that is off his solo project Section 80. So far, Cole and Kendrick are still slated to be working on a mixtape together which could possibly kill every other rapper’s career in my opinion. I love Kendrick. I love Jermaine. I couldn’t be a happier music lover right now.
Here’s the deal. Sam from iHipHop was planning to put together a project featuring all independent rappers. Sadly, this never game together but this track was dope he decided to release it from the masses to enjoy. CurT@!n$ is a great representation to what a NYC MC is to me, gritty with hard rhymes yet he keeps it classy. Oh, and he’s a spiffy dresser too. Jus sayin.
“Big shouts to CurT@!n$ for f*cking with me and my vision regardless if it was executed, and for generally not being a pussy and killing this joint. I encourage all girls to sleep with him merely for what he represents.”

This track was originally on Jazmine’s recently released album Love Me Back, Vizzy keeps the hook and lays some bars, giving us ANOTHER great joint off his upcoming Zero Heroes project which drops this Friday. Don’t know what it is about Vizzy’s music lately but he’s definitely giving music for the dreamers out there. I’m loving it.
