okay okay it’s just the tracklist and artwork but boy did this get me SUPER excited. I hear that there’s a Freshman 10 show in the works for later this month and well, I’ll definitely be in there. For now enjoy the pictures while we await the drop which should be on Monday. Also: I can put money on Jermaine’s hands being in his pockets for this photo. Switch it up Mr. Cole … c’mon.

I have no idea what a Wakey! Wakey! is but this is the second time in 2 weeks that Theo Martins has impressed me. First with his Veni Vidi Vici track and now this. Dare I say, drop one more track like this Theo and I’m officially a fan.

Man, although this makes me REALLY happy to hear Little Brother together i’m sad that this is their last and final album. Such a bittersweet feeling, I’ll always have the Minstrel Show to get me through my sad times I guess. 9th please come back for some tracks, it really would make me very happy – let’s finish what you guys started. Khrysis as always comes through with dope production.

Everyday a Star is Born – Clap for Em. Although maybe not clap for this leather business they dressed him in. Jermaine covers the April/May issue of The Source. You’ve come a long way young sir. Download:Kidz In The Hall – Out To Lunch (Ft. The Kid Daytona)
In this cut Yela discusses his opportunity to work with some of the greats of Hip Hop such as Raekwon and Bun B as well as shows us his versatility in music. One of the flyest white guys I’ve come across – that does even try. His effortless confidence really is a quality I quite enjoy. Not to mention I haven’t stopped bumpin’ that Dear Mama track since I first heard it a couple months ago. He’s next to blow up guys. Listen to me when I say that – I’m usually never wrong.

I seen a baby cry then seconds later she laughed, the beauty of life, the pain never lasts
